32 page pamphlet by Jay Lovestone, right hand man of Executive Secretary of the Workers Party of America C.E. Ruthenberg, detailing the exploitative system prevailing in the steel industry. The Workers Party was the legal adjunct of the underground Communist Party of America and was established at the end of 1921. The WPA would eventually transform into the Communist (Workers) Party in 1925 and then into the Communist Party USA in 1929.
